| Dear Friend:
Kids with disabilities are kids first. Their disability is a part of
who they are, but only a part.
Unfortunately, the disability often holds back the child.
We began Billy’s Friends Foundation for
Children with Disabilities with the determination to fund
the immediate accessibility needs of kids with disabilities. Needs for
equipment, technologies and services parents may not be able to afford,
and insurance companies may not cover.
The foundation pays the provider directly for the service or equipment.
In other words, your donation goes directly to provide help to a child. It
does not pay salaries, overhead costs or administrative fees—it is
deposited into the bank where it stays until needed.
We believe in the charity of others. We believe when government and
insurance companies will not or cannot help parents adapt their homes,
care for their children or provide technologies to help children keep up
with their peers—friends, neighbors and the community must step in.
Won’t you join us by donating to the foundation?

The Foundation Mission
Billy’s Friends Foundation for Children with Disabilities provides
financial support for services, technologies, equipment or other
necessities that allow children with disabilities to be fully included in
life.
How It Works
This 501-3C charity relies solely on donations. The foundation is a
bank account and does not pay salaries or administrative fees; rather, all
work for the foundation is done voluntarily. The foundation is not a
service agency.
Parents or guardians of children with disabilities can apply to the
foundation for funding of a special need by writing to the foundation at
429 Lincoln Avenue, Erie, PA 16505. Applications will be reviewed for
appropriate
funding.
